Important News:
Effective 1/31/10 Corporal Montelongo will be temporarily returning to Patrol and is assigned to T-2. Officer Leal will move to T-1 effective the same date. This change is being made to help reduce Patrol overtime. All City Department budgets were reduced to cover an anticipated shortfall of funds in this fiscal year’s budget. As part of the reduction PD's Office Supplies were reduced by 20%. All Travel & Meetings and Training were eliminated unless POST reimbursed or mandatory training. Our use of overtime has been restricted. The city is currently looking at other alternatives to reduce the budget shortfall for this fiscal year and next fiscal year.
